Parents Don’t Forsake Your Children To Wrath

Parents don’t provoke your children to wrath. Don’t put them or push them into circumstances that leave them vulnerable to predators. Children who are placed in desperate situations due to the neglect of their parents can find themselves being sexually exploited, physically abused and even worse. Children who have no love, support or even the basic necessities like food and shelter are prime targets for predators who look for weak parental support and take advantage of the gap.

No man, women, or even a mistake or disagreement between you and your non adult child provides you as parents with the right to abandon your child. How can you say that you love God who you can’t see but turn your back on the child that you gave birth too? God holds you responsible for your child. You are the parent and you are supposed to protect them from predators.

1 Timothy 5:8

If anyone fails to provide for his own, and especially for those of his own family, he has denied the faith [by disregarding its precepts] and is worse than an unbeliever [who fulfills his obligation in these matters.

Colossians 3:21

Fathers, do not provoke or irritate or exasperate your children [with demands that are trivial or unreasonable or humiliating or abusive; nor by favoritism or indifference; treat them tenderly with lovingkindness], so they will not lose heart and become discouraged or unmotivated [with their spirits broken].
