Keep Hope Alive
Hopelessness begins with a thought that manifests in a feeling that can infiltrate and destroy your spirit. Once hopelessness has found a home in your spirit it will impact everything you see and do. Unfortunately, when your hope is shaken your faith is impacted. And without faith you cannot advance any further in the kingdom of God. So fight to keep your hope.
Many of you are simply going through the motions of life. The initial drive and determination you once had to believe God and to stand on His Word are gone. Yes, you are getting up in the morning, going to work and coming home; but that is it. You are only doing the things you need to do to make it, but you are not going beyond that. You don’t have the energy or the spiritual strength you once had. When you hear or read a scripture that tells you “you can make it” or “God will make a way,” you are not excited because you feel as if you heard it before and that the word does not work. But you must pick yourself up and believe again. You can not stop believing and trusting in God and his Word. Your season and your time is coming.

Deliverance from “influence”

1 Corinthians 15:33-34
33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
The scripture is saying to us “don’t be so deceived and misled by the so-called kind jesters made to you by your companionships and associations; friends, family, relatives, and even the aged of those associations. Their evil companionship will corrupt and deprave your good manners, morals, and character that you have received through the obedience of the Word of God.
You may not think this is so because you are walking in agreement with their spirit. This is why the scripture in 1 John 4:1 teaches us not to believe every spirit, but try the spirits to see whether they are of God.
As born again believers, regardless of where you are in Christ and regardless of what your status is in Christ we need to WAKE UP! Come out of that stupor we are living in. Return to a sober sense and a right mind and stop sinning.
Some of you really don’t have the knowledge of God as you suppose you do. You lack the true knowledge of the Lord God, His Word, and His Presence, which leaves you ignorant and open to allow access from the influence of others, as well as the devil. Every believer’s agenda, and even sinner’s agenda toward you may not be the agenda that God and His Word has called you to. SELAH!
This phase of deliverance is just like your habits, but there is a difference between a habit and the need to be delivered. Deliverance requires a step-by-step process, with the Word of God and a determined desire to be delivered.
For example, a smoker or drinker must first admit that they have this addiction with a need and desire to quit. Acknowledging your need to quit, weighed with the benefits of your health in quitting. Or a fornicator, must first admit that they have a problem in the area of fornication, in order to be delivered.
The work of deliverance from your habits, addiction, etc. can be a step-by-step process with a long road to recovery. The deliverance process carries the same process as well, but with the TEAM of God being made readily and available to you at any time through faith, obedience, and a desired determination.
Any habit or addiction needed to get rid of will require patience and endurance; sacrifice and suffering; and the Word of God, through deliverance.
A phase is the view that anything presents to the eye; any one of varying distinctive manifestations of an object.
In the phases of deliverance, one must admit a need to be delivered from SELF. In your acknowledgment, conviction has to cause you to feel guilt from whatever your pleasure of sin is. Go to God with an intent to change your mind from SELF; repent to God and ask for forgiveness for your sin and wrong doings; go back and ask for forgiveness to the one that trespassed against you or that you trespassed against; and forgive yourself.
Continue to pray and seek the Lord in deliverance; allow the Lord to give you His Word(s) to study in your deliverance time.
Continue to renounce audibly past experiences of sin and wrong doings; of any practices of familiar spirits of divination; and declare that you are now living according to the Word of God to keep the doors permanently closed to those past experiences along with the practices.
Time is a tester. Time, in deliverance will be your test. When deliverance comes and offer to serve you, this begins your journey. This road may be long and hard, that is why you must be determined to go through the impatience and longsuffering, with the Word of God.
Remember how it was when you were in school and you were timed on some test exams that you took. Even on some of our jobs depending on what we do, time is a tester. No matter what you had a time limit to complete the test and you did.
The funny thing about time is that we try to race time or get ahead of time, not realizing that time is omnipresence, because it is in God. It has the quality of being everywhere present at the same time. It is already there when you get there. I am not saying that God is in a time zone, He is in Eternity; but time is in Him.
Time is employed by God. Time is equipped with God and the things that God has fulfilled for mankind.
Acts 17:28
28 For in Him, we live, and move, and have our well-being; as certain also of your poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
Let’s discuss this for just a moment “for in Him we live, and move, and have our being“.
God is being viewed here by Paul as the “element” in which we live, we move, we breathe, and have our being. We have the existence of being a living soul in Him.
This places man in an intimate connection with God. Man is constantly surrounded by the Godhead and embraced in its essential influence; but apart from the Godhead man cannot live, move, nor exist as a being.
We are resting in Him as the foundation. Your foundation must be Jesus.
“For we are his offspring“. An offspring is a person’s child or children; the product or result of something.
We are his offspring, a product of results from what Jesus Christ suffered and sacrificed for all mankind.
Colossians 2:9-10
9 For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily
10 And ye are completed in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Again, this was just to say to you who you are and whose you are. Know who you are in Christ Jesus.
Do you trust God to deliver you? Do you expect God to deliver you? If so, you do know that you have a part to play in your deliverance also. Everything is not on God!
Influence
All influence that receive or encounter is not always good for us, though we have to try things, experiment with things to see if in fact we will accomplish or fail from these influences. Even if the influence is in agreement with our own thoughts and determinations, we still must be mindful of the influences we receive.
All influence is not good for us, especially for our spirit, spiritual growth in the Lord and in accordance to His Will. So just because a person or persons use the Word of God as an influence to us along with their testimonies and experiences, we must be mindful that we don’t end up missing the part that God has given us and called us to.
Influence is power! You must be mindful and prayerful of whose influence is controlling you. With knowledge comes the power to influence.
1 Corinthians 8:1-3 Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth. 2 And if any man think that he knoweth anything, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know. 3 But if any man love God, the same is known of him.
Influence is the capacity or power of a person or persons or things to be a compelling force on or produce effects on the actions, behavior, opinions, etc. of others.
Influence is also the capacity to have an effect on the character, development, or behavior or someone or something, or the effect itself.
Other synonyms are: to have impact in, guide, control, shape, govern, decide, sway, persuade, etc.
Are there any questions or comments?
Being delivered from the influence of person(s) or things is one of the biggest problems with the believers, as well as the sinner. Whereas, we come into salvation to be an influence to the sinner, but end up influencing one another to the point of not knowing the true purpose of the call into salvation. Many have been hurt and felt deceived through the influence of the believers.
Have you ever noticed when a person can’t control you or steer you to do according to their thoughts, ideas, and plans that they will fall out with you? They will literally kick you to the curb, because you are no use to them.
Are you a controlling person? Do you know if you are? How strong are you in influencing others to getting your plans and purpose accomplished through them? How strong are you in influencing others to come to Jesus? How strong are you in influence in sticking only to God’s plan and purpose in your life, as well as others?
Influence can be a great thing to have and use, providing that you are being influenced by the right words and the deliverer of that word.
Influence is something that we all have over one another at some point or another. In our lives we will or we have ran into people that had some kind of influence over us or we had it over them.
Take a look at yourself and see how influence has helped you along the way or has it caused you to be stagnated in your way of doing things.
How long has influence last with you? Is it temporary? Was it temporary? Can you see spiritual growth from the influences? Or was it just long enough to get what your sole purpose of gain was for the moment? Was God and His Word the author of your power to influence? Or have you been at this thing for a life time, even in your old age till it does not matter what the outcome is for anyone?
Sit back, if you will and look at your accomplishments throughout the years on how you have used people or people have used you just through influence. And for some, you are still being used because you don’t know how to make it on your own without somebody else’s influence. But, what impact did that influence have on you today? Did it make you strong or weak? Did it make you bitter with un-forgiveness or sweet and forgiving? Did it cause you to put up a guard against all that did that to you from now on, causing you to avoid or come against what God has for you? Or did it strengthen you to do better to others as you would have them to do to you?
It is through the influences that we have encounter and experienced throughout our life so far that has made up our character, behavior, and opinion. Would you agree?
Well, any influence greater than the Word of God over you is like a demon that has attached itself to you and is altering your way of thinking and doing.
Who is your greatest influencer? You know people have their favorite people in family, relatives, friends, people in song, dance, movies, actors, sports, etc.
But any influence over you that is greater than the Word of God is demonic.
Can a family member, relative, or friend sway you from the Word of God and doing the Will of God? How easy is it for you to be influenced from the Will of God? How easily are you convinced to do other than what you know God has commanded you to do? How much control does your flesh with its Will have over you? The flesh of others?
Influence depending on its level and depth of intent can be deadly to one, especially if you are a born again believer. The intent of influence here is like the serpents intent in the Garden of Eden in Genesis 3. The serpent’s intent was to deceive, with a lying spirit and with a spirit of deception. So influence is not always something that you should allow to be downloaded in your psyche (the human soul, mind, or spirit: your true being), by anyone without prayer and an answer from the Lord for that prayer.
You become who you are influenced by. The enemy starts out “with and in” a word.
Influence is designed to use you until you are used up, even if it takes a life time to do so.
Influence can be like a disease that has entered your body, mind, and or spirit. It attaches itself to a vital organ within.
Influence can only live within the vessel, not on the outside of it. This is why we must guard our heart, spirit, and soul with the Divine protection of the Word of God.
The enemy here is influence and will come in the form of another living soul, even yourself.
Isaiah 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.
That standard is God and His Word!
The Word of God is as Safe Lock” claims to be over you finances and to keep you from being subject to identity theft, but it is greater.
The Word of God is as ADT, the Guardian claim to be in being your protection away from your home and goods, but is not greater than the Divine protection of the Word of God.
The Word of God is greater than a thief that comes by day or night to rob you. When living in the Word of God, the Word will put a fear upon the thief and his intent.
St John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Is the Word of God your sole influence?
Influence is not a challenge to the Word of God, only a stepping stone in victory, after victory, after victory. You make the choice to use the Word of God according to God’s Will and not yours and watch how it will defeat the influencers, which are against His Will.
We are weak when we allow others to remove us from the path that God has us traveling on, by taking us out of the boundaries of the Word of God. We become impatient, putting our soul in harm’s way of the enemy, along with giving him access when we don’t rest in the Word of God patiently, while God does what He has spoken and what He need to do for us and in us.
When we become weak, we lose focus on the Lord God and His Word. We become easy prey for the enemy to come and devour us by stealing, killing, and destroying what the Will of God has purposed.
Influence can penetrate your spirit. Influence comes in many forms of “I like you because”; or “we should walk together in Christ because God has said this….” Or “this is what God has put in my spirit for you”, etc.
Influence will disguise itself. It will appear as an angel of light, with evil lurking inwardly.
Influence can be detrimental to your health, especially once it has gained access to control.
Influence is a hindrance to you. It will program you to its way.
Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
What does that passage of scripture really mean to you?
In this phase of deliverance, the head influencer that is outside of the Will of God and His Purpose for you must be cut off and soon. Don’t allow peoples influence to enter into your personal space that has been reserved for the Lord God. This should include your mind, spirit, soul, and body.
Pray for spiritual discernment so you won’t turn on the one that God has sent or placed in your path with the true righteousness according to His Will.
Pray for Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding to know how to rightly divide the Word of God. Pray the Heart of God’s Understanding in your walk in Him and with Him.
Please understand this include a person and or a believer when they are outside of the Word of God. A believer can be outside of the Word of God because of truth being misunderstood and the inability to obey the Word of God, according to God and His Plan, not there’s.
Know them whom you labor among. 1 Thessalonians 5:12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you:
I don’t mean that you know them in the flesh as a family member and their walk; or a person called that you served with on a job or in the military; or a good friend that you know have changed; but know them spiritually. And you MUST BE in the Spirit to know them! If you can’t do that or don’t know how to do that then you will need to seriously pray, asking God to help you, and wait on His answer.
Pray for an ear to hear what the spirits are really saying to you.
We as believers must come to the full knowledge that the devil uses people; the devil will the weakest link that is connected to you; the devil is not playing a game with you like Jeopardy to see how many of his lies and deception you can figure out. The devil is real and is real in his business to steal, kill, and destroy that which the Lord God has established in you.
In this phase of deliverance, what is your greatest influence outside of the Word of God? Who is he? Who is she? What is it? Can God move them out of your circle to do His Will in you and your life?
