Many of you are simply going through the motions of life. The initial drive and determination you once had to believe God and to stand on His Word are gone. Yes, you are getting up in the morning, going to work and coming home; but that is it. You are only doing the things you need to do to make it, but you are not going beyond that. You don’t have the energy or the spiritual strength you once had. When you hear or read a scripture that tells you “you can make it” or “God will make a way,” you are not excited because you feel as if you heard it before and that the word does not work. But you must pick yourself up and believe again. You can not stop believing and trusting in God and his Word. Your season and your time is coming.

When God speaks Apostle Tracey Robinson Personal Touch International Ministry
Obedience should be our response and actions
Obedience means submission to command, prohibition, law, or duty; the fact of being obeyed, or having subjects obedient to one; sphere of authority, or those acknowledging it.
Obedience is a necessity with God and to God.
Obedience is very important to us in our daily walk and in spiritual growth.
Obedience to God and living an obedient life helps us to grow closer to Christ Jesus.
Obedience applied to your daily walk will allow you to continue to grow and know God’s Will;
Obedience is evidence of a personal relationship with the Lord and in doing His Will.
Obedience shows our love for Jesus, whereas Jesus said, if you love me you will keep my commandments, St John 13:34.
Our actions show where our hearts really are. Our mannerism with behavior will act it out.
It is only when we began to understand God’s love for us through His Son Jesus and His death on the Cross is when we will obey Him.
When you are “in love” you are in a relationship with someone. “Being in love” employs obedience which becomes a spiritual and natural thing in that relationship.
When God speaks to you, what is your first response? What actions do you take? Do you do what He has spoken to you? Are you faithful and obedient to what He has spoken?
Obedience is one of the keys to “knowing God’s Will” in plan and purpose for your life.
In order to know God’s Will for your life you must be able to:
Fully surrender your life to the Lordship of Christ. This is begins in that part of salvation where you have accepted Him as your Savior. Lord and Master come as we get furthered delivered and disciplined in and by His Word.
A surrendered life style will give you the right to hear God and will obligate God to speak to you and your life circumstances.
? Live a life of obedience with humility in the power of the Holy Ghost (Spirit).
? Study the Word of God in the Spirit.
? Pray the Word of God in the Spirit.
Maintaining your “first love” for the Lord Jesus. This is a recurring process that never ends.
Many believers lose a lot of battles; lose their joy in the Lord; and learning how to trust and obey the Lord because they are trying to discover or figure out the Will of God in their lives through their Will and nature of the old man. This is only discovered through the nature of the new man.
To be in the Will of God is to:
? Abide in Christ Jesus and LET Him be your ONLY example to follow.
? Abide in the Word of God in Spirit and in Truth.
? ALWAYS maintain your first love with Him.
? Walk in the power of the Spirit of the Holy Ghost.
? Walk in repentance with a Godly sorrow with humility, etc.
If we continue to walk in the Will of God, He will guide and lead us in making decisions in our spiritual and natural life; He will guide you day-by-day and moment-by-moment in ALL your decisions and actions. Proverbs 3:5-6 says trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
When the Spirit of Truth comes, St John 16:13, He will guide and lead you into all truth and will tell you what is to come. He will only speak what He hears that He hears from the heart of God.
Remember, Satan (the devil) is the enemy of our soul. His mission in whomever he uses is to keep you from being effective and fruitful in your walk, in your witnessing, and in your trust and obedience toward God, the Father.
Remember that Satan can never defeat us if we are completely yielded and obedient to Christ.
Some believers fear the transitioning that God wants to make in their lives, which makes them reluctant in trusting and obeying Him. Yes, surrendering to Him and His Will brings in change. A transformation if you let it.
Willingness and obedience is the true test of our love for Christ and is the secret to discovering God’s Will for our life.
Obedience is important for your protection. God provides protection and provisions through obedience.
Obedience is important to hope, faith, love, and living a surrendering life.
God controls and allows the details of our journey, because we really don’t know enough about where we are going to plan the details. So sit back and hear the guidance of God as He speaks to you. Just let Him Speak!
